Acerti is a US-headquartered nearshore technology firm. Our AI automation layer does the top of the funnel — agents source, qualify, and book qualified discovery calls onto your calendar. You are the human who closes. You run the discovery call, diagnose fit, handle objections, and bring the deal to a ready-to-sign contract. Then you stay the client’s relationship owner: you run periodic checkpoints, keep the account healthy, and surface new opportunities that become new deals. You don’t prospect cold and you don’t manage delivery — you do the two things that need a great salesperson: close and grow.
How you’re paid
This is a performance-based revenue-share role — no base draw, no cold prospecting quota. You earn a percentage of every invoiced hour, for the full life of every engagement you close. Expansion you surface at an existing client counts as a new deal at the same percentage. The more you close and grow, the more you earn, recurring. Final % is set with you.
How you’re engaged
You’re an independent contractor, not an employee — typically contracting through your own LLC/S-corp on a commission-only agreement. You handle your own taxes (we collect a W-9 and issue a 1099-NEC); no withholding, no benefits.
02What you’ll do
CloseRun discovery & win the deal
- Take AI-booked discovery calls with US/Canada buyers
- Diagnose need, budget, authority, and timing
- Position Acerti’s nearshore model and handle objections
- Negotiate terms and hand Acerti a ready-to-sign contract
GrowOwn & expand the relationship
- Be the client’s point of contact across the contract
- Run periodic checkpoints / QBRs to keep the account healthy
- Spot expansion — more headcount, new service lines, new units
- Log each new opportunity as a new deal in the CRM
You work hand-in-hand with Acerti’s delivery org — they own staffing, delivery, QA, and billing behind you, so you can stay focused on the client. Every conversation is logged to Zoho so the company has full context and you never lose the thread.
03What we’re looking for
Experience
- 5+ years in consultative B2B sales, closing technology, software, or professional-services deals into US/Canada accounts.
- Full-cycle, quota-carrying closer — you have personally owned deals from discovery to signature, typically $50K–$500K+ in value.
- Selling to technical and executive buyers — CTOs, VPs of Engineering, COOs — with credibility and executive presence.
- Account management & expansion track record — you have grown existing accounts, not just landed new logos.
- Comfortable with an AI-assisted / inbound-warm pipeline — you convert qualified meetings rather than dial for them.
- Nearshore / outsourcing / staffing-services sales experience is a strong plus.
Sales methodologies you can actually run
We hire closers who run a real, repeatable qualification and closing system — not gut feel. You should be fluent in at least one of the following and able to apply it on a live call:
MEDDIC / MEDDPICC qualification
Metrics, Economic buyer, Decision criteria/process, Identify pain, Champion (Paper process, Competition). Our default qualification spine.
SPIN Selling discovery
Situation, Problem, Implication, Need-payoff questioning to surface and quantify pain on the discovery call.
Challenger positioning
Teach–Tailor–Take control: reframe the buyer’s thinking and lead with insight, ideal for the nearshore value case.
Sandler / Solution Selling process
Up-front contracts, pain funnel, mutual qualification — disciplined, low-pressure deal control through to close.
Working knowledge of BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) and value/ROI-based selling is assumed. You don’t need to use our exact framework on day one — you need to demonstrate you run a rigorous one.

Also essential: fluent US business English and written communication, integrity and discretion with confidential client information, self-direction in a remote, performance-based role, and comfort working across Zoho CRM, Google Workspace, and video calls.
